As Executive Producer for Semi Permanent Middle East 2021, I led the inaugural event’s entry into the Middle East, held over three days in Abu Dhabi. This landmark festival celebrated global creativity and innovation, bringing together renowned artists, designers, musicians, and thought leaders.

The event featured standout experiences, including a DJ set by Grammy winner Mark Ronson, immersive installations by digital artist Refik Anadol, and an art exhibition by Los Angeles-based filmmaker, art curator, and cultural icon Aaron Rose, showcasing contemporary artworks from world-renowned artists, including Tom Sachs and Raymond Pettibon.

Attendees were also transported to New York’s Lower East Side with an authentic pop-up of The Flower Shop NYC, the iconic bar and restaurant, bringing a slice of New York’s vibrant culture to Abu Dhabi.

We collaborated with the visionary design studio Perron–Roettinger to craft the event’s spatial design, transforming the venue into an immersive, aesthetically captivating environment.
